hide The Claims Resolution Tribunal (“CRT”) of the Holocaust Victim Assets Litigation is now closed, and this website is no longer being updated. It remains online through the assistance of the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. The CRT was the administrative agency responsible for processing claims relating to assets deposited in Swiss Banks and other Swiss entities by Victims or Targets of Nazi persecution prior to and during the Second World War. It operated in Zurich and New York under the supervision of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York and the Court-appointed Special Masters. This website contains information about the deposited assets claims of the Swiss Banks Holocaust litigation, the Court’s decisions, and other relevant filings and materials.

Insurance Claims

The CRT announces the publication of the following List of Holocaust-Era Insurance Policyholders (the “List”) that will facilitate the continuing effort to process and pay insurance claims.  The 36 Holocaust-era policyholders on the List had insurance policies that were issued in Germany, Austria, Hungary and Poland by the Austrian insurer Der Anker that, because of special circumstances, are covered by the Swiss Settlement.  Heirs and relatives of the persons who appear on the List may have valid claims for compensation under the Swiss Settlement Insurance Claims Process, based on a Holocaust-era policy purchased by the person on the List.

Accordingly, heirs and relatives of the policyholders listed below are invited to make a claim pursuant to the Swiss Settlement Insurance Claims Process.  To make a claim relating to one of the names below, please complete and submit an updated Claim Form, which is available by clicking here. Claims must relate to one of the policyholders listed below, whose name must be written on the first page of the updated Claim Form in the space provided.  Claims must be submitted no later than July 13, 2005.
